Power transmission gearbox
The power transmission for both turboprop and helicopter application is one of Avio’s key products. This experience dates back to the '60s and, since then, the Company has continuously invested in order to remain at the leading edge in the sector.
This module is designed to transfer power from the engine exit shaft to the aircraft propeller, in the case of the turboprop, or to the helicopter main or tail rotor. The latest technological programs and developments on the face gears and on the "geared fan" jet engine represent Avio’s most recent and advanced achievements in this "core" product.
