The Avio MR&O Division is a branch of the Avio Company, which was set up in 1999, in order to concentrate the maintenance, repair, overhaul and test activities for commercial engines in a single industrial centre, at Pomigliano D’Arco (15 km from Naples), which also includes the development and manufacture of assemblies and engine components.

Avio operates in the capacity of Risk and Revenue Sharing Partnership with the major OEMs.

The creation of the MR&O Division was made in order to answer Airline requirements, which need technical expertise, business integrity and stability, leading-edge turnaround and customer service standards, in the selection of their outsourcing partner.The MR&O Division has all the characteristics that distinguish a top international logistics service provider: know-how, innovative solutions and customer orientation. By tailoring our services precisely to Customer business needs, we leave them free to concentrate on their core business.

The strength of our long tradition in the aerospace field and our highly qualified teams, backed by outstanding technical training and the Six Sigma (Cartesio Plus) application, enable us to offer an effective one-stop shop and full support, in order to satisfy Customer needs at the right time in the right place, in the World.

Facility

The Avio MR&O Division is at pomigliano D'Arco, 15 km far from Naples. The total area is 200,000 m˛, of which 80,000 m˛ is covered, including 3 Workshops (Standard Operations, Repairs and Accessories), 3 Test Cells (one up to 100,000 lb of thrust) and 2 Main Buildings.

Product support

The Product support service of the MR&O Division is targeted to follow up the Operator through all phases (take off, in flight, arrival, aircraft on ground), through its different services: engine fleet monitoring (C.A.E.S), Customer Engine Support on ground, AoG support, On-wing ECM support, repair and overhaul at Avio Shop, engine leasing support and dedicated contracts.
